The YABBA Awards Ceremony is the Ultimate Reward
The Awards Ceremony is the culmination of the entire YABBA year. Everyone attending the Awards Ceremony gets rewarded.
- The children in attendance get the reward of meting their writing heros
- The Authors and Illustrators get rewarded through meeting their readers
- Some very lucky Authors and Illustrators receive the ultimate reward with their book winning a YABBA
- The host school is rewarded with the honour of hosting this prestigious event
- And finally the YABBA Council is rewarded with the pinnacle of all the hard work

Signing Ceremony Rules
To ensure that all the 400 children in attendance at this year’s Award Ceremony there are some simple rules to follow –
- A child may ask any one author or illustrator to sign 2 things for them
- Only ask an author or illustrator to sign their book or the official autograph card (supplied on the day)
