2023 Awards Ceremony

The 2023 Winners and Honour Books received their citations on Thursday 19th October 2023 at Camberwell Girls Grammar School in Canterbury, Victoria.
After three years of livestreaming, 2023 marked the return of a live Awards Ceremony. Comedian and children’s book author, Peter Helliar, was the Master of Ceremonies.
The Alice-Miranda series by Jacqueline Harvey was inducted into the YABBA Hall of Fame. The Graham Davey Citation was presented to the creators of the multiple YABBA Award Winning ‘Treehouse’ series - Andy Griffiths and Terry Denton.
This was a fabulous time and we sincerely thank all authors and illustrators for donating their time on the day, we are truly honoured to have them in attendance and for their ongoing support. Thank you to Camberwell Girls Grammar School for bringing immense joy to the Awards Ceremony.
